Injectables
The PDO Thread Lift is a medical aesthetic procedure that utilizes FDA-approved absorbable suture material known as polydioxanone (PDO), which is safe for soft tissue. This thread lifting technique is minimally invasive and employs needles and blunt-tip cannulas to deliver fully absorbable surgical sutures deep into the skin. As the threads are tightened, the skin tissue is pulled and anchored in the desired directions. Thread lifting provides a non-surgical alternative to facelift surgery. After the procedure, new collagen forms in the dermal matrix, inherently improving the appearance of pores and fine wrinkles. In most cases, the threads dissolve in about six to nine months, but the results can last up to two years. However, the timeline may vary for each individual.
